Megan Holloway

Megan Holloway has spent 14 years in the hair industry — 8 behind the chair and 6 in editorial. She trained at the Aveda Institute before working at a Portland, Oregon salon known for scalp health and damage-repair work, where she developed a focus on the science side of hair: porosity, cuticle damage, and product formulation. She later completed a trichology certification to deepen her understanding of scalp conditions and hair loss patterns.

As Editor-in-Chief, Megan sets Hair Gracefully's editorial standards and writes the site's hair care, maintenance, and ingredient-focused content — with an emphasis on translating clinical-sounding concepts into practical, specific guidance readers can actually use.
